She was born March 5, 1929 in Calhoun Co., MS. She was the daughter of Willie P.Parker & Annie Pearl Shoemake Parker.

Syble was a restaurant owner, a member of Calhoun City, First Baptist Church, Republican Women, D.A.V. Auxillary, & First Baptist Joy Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Billie Jean Webb & husband, James of Oxford; three sons, Buddy Dye of Calhoun City; Marion Long of Calhoun City; David Aven & wife, Kathy of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Willie Pear Bailey & husband, David of Pensacola, FL; Martha Jane Bryant of Pittsboro; eight grandchildren & nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Esker Long & second husband, Johnny Aven; & her parents.

Pallbearers will be Chris Long, Jason Dye, Blair Webb, Blake Webb, Matthew Long, & Bryan Poteete.
