She worked for over 50 years at Bolivar Insurance and Realty in Bolivar, Tennessee, and was a former owner. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar, where she used to keep the nursery.
Some of her favorite pastimes included working with flowers and gardening, cooking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
SURVIVORS:
Four sons: Tommy Sain (Amy), Bobby Sain (DaJuan), Jimmy Sain (Kim) and Jackie Sain (Deana) all of Bolivar; two sisters: Margaret Vincent of Nashville and Bernice Sandy of Corinth, Mississippi; two brothers: Jim Avent (Nadine) of Whiteville and Ben Avent (Beatrice) of Michie; nine grandchildren: Blake Sain (Melessa), Chase Sain, Shelby Sain, Ashley Sain, Allison Housholder (John), Will Sain, Jon Sain, Brock Sain (Elizabeth) and Clint Sain; one great-granddaughter: Livvy Blake Sain; and a host of extended family and friends.

Her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Phenton, Wade and Frank Avent.
