Mike was a member of the United States Army and worked as a senior electrician level 3 supervisor at DuPont Sabine River Works, as well as being a member of the VFW. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, boating, and hunting. Mike also loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mikewas preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Curtis Blessitt, Jerry Blessitt, Roger Blessitt, and Donald Blessitt.
Mike is survived by his children, Kimberly Ann Goslin, of Orange, Tammy Lynn Robins, of Orange, David Michael Blessitt, of Orange, Joy Edan Blessitt, of Lindale, Naomi Lea Perdue, of Groves, and Donna Lea Jones and husband Michael, of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Derek, Dallas, Dillon, Deanna, Lexie, Jessica, Ashton, Addison, Abbigail, Easton, Jaxon, and Triston; great-grandchildren, Kade, Gabrielle, and Zoey; and his siblings, Mary Fisher, Linda Kelly, Odis Blessitt, and Larry Blessitt.
