Kathryn Avent Ray, 84, a longtime resident of Bradley, MS, passed away on May 30th, 2016 at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, C.H. Ray after eight years.
She was born in Clarkson, MS on March 24, 1932. She was a daughter of John and Lucille Avent. She was married to C.H. Ray on January 16, 1952. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working the garden and spending time with her family. While living in Bradley, she was an active member of the Bradley Church of God.
Mrs. Ray is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. She has 10 living siblings.
Mrs. Kathryn Ray is survived by two sons, Roy Ray (Gwen) of Bradley, and John Ray (Sissy) of Sturgis, MS; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
