Mr. Holland was born April 29, 1905, in Hopkins County, Texas. He married Ida June Gilbert, August 18, 1949, in Vernon, Texas. He has lived in Electra for the past 40 years residing at 506 E. Bryan. He was a automobile mechanic.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Commerce,Texas where he lived prior to moving to Electra.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Ida Holland of Electra; four daughters, Mrs. Evie Lalk, Mrs. Linda Mauldin and Mrs. Mary Minge all of Electra, and Mrs. Jerry Holbert of Amarillo; one son, Frank Allan Holland of Electra; 10 grand children and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Clark, Joe Kohler, Jimmy Cargile, Ronnie Whisnand, Dan Smith, Bill Hollingsworth.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jack Cargile, Leon Magness, Fred Huffstutler, Hubert Hart.
