Mr. Dearborn was born in Houston Texas on September 24, 1924. After graduating from High School he served in the United States Navy during World War 2. After proudly serving his country he graduated from the University of the South, and received his Masters of Education from the University of Houston.
He served as the Headmaster and Coach at Highland School, Warrenton, VA; St. Joseph, Boynton Beach, FL; Tuscaloosa Academy, Tuscaloosa, AL and Eutaw Academy, Eutaw, AL. He also was member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Mountain Brook.
Mr. Dearborn is preceded in death by his wife; Mrs. Joan Erickson Dearborn, and survived by his son; Alexander (Sandy) Dearborn of Birmingham, AL, Daughters; Mary Torrice Lawson of Richmond, VA and Joan Dearborn Choremi of Glen Head, NY. Grandchildren; Chris and Lexi Torrice and Nicholas and Janie Choremi.
