Bill graduated from high school in McAlester and attended Eastern State College in Wilburton. After completion of military service in the Army, he owned and operated a car wash business in North McAlester for some years. At the time of death, Bill had worked five years for the Western Company of North America as an equipment operator and lived at Alex, Oklahoma, for three years. Bill and Iretia Rothen were married July 7, 1982, in McAlester,Oklahoma.
He died from injuries sustained in a head-on collision near Lindsay, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Harry and Virginia LaRue (FAG 127560337}; mother and stepfather, Louise and Bob Huthison (FAG 21324338) all of McAlester; wife Iretia of the home; son and daughter Billy and Teresa LaRue of Springfield, Ohio; and step children, Kenneth and Kimberley Klein of the home. Also stepbrothers, Kenneth LaRue of Norman; Ronnie LaRue of Eufaula; Jeff LaRue of Okinawa; Pete Manschrek and Bobby Hutchison of McAlester; and three stepsisters: Sarah Hutchison Boatright and Charlotte McPherson of McAlester, and Susie Whillock of Broken Arrow, and other relatives.
