Clara Marjorie Smith passed away on June 11, 2015, in Sierra Vista, Ariz., with her family by her side.
“Margie” was born to the late Ross and Erma Avent. She was the third of four girls; also Carol, Ruby, and Violet, who all preceded her to heaven.
She was married to James Smith for 55 years, living in Paso Robles, Calif., for 37 years before relocating to Sierra Vista in 2014. Margie was a home health aide until she retired due to health issues, brightening the lives of everyone in her care.
She will always be remembered by her family and friends for having a very kind and loving spirit. She was an active member of Loaves and Fishes, as well as Aglow. She enjoyed hiking, reading, crocheting, baking pies, having coffee with friends, and scouring the beach for interesting rocks with her husband.
She is survived by two children, Paula Smith and Mark Smith from Sierra Vista; as well as many nieces and nephews.
