Ronald George Avants, 80, was born January 22, 1941 in Paducah, TX. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 22, 2021.
He was married 52years to Clara F. Forrest Avants, whom he cared for until her passing in 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Cleatus Avants, his twin brother, Donald, brother, William and sister, Jo Smith. Ron was a kind, hardworking family man who would lend a hand to anyone he met. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister, Martha Cannon of Oklahoma City, daughter, Rhonda and Matt Angle of Yukon, son, Dean Avants of Oklahoma City, three grandchildren, Bobby Patterson, Michael Patterson and Piper Avants and one great grandson, Zayne Patterson.
