Lynn Lyday, 64, of Celeste passed away August 22, 2016 at his residence.
Born June 12, 1952 in Sherman, Lynn was the son of Gilford and Pearlie (Griffis) Lyday.
He served in the United States Air Force and worked as a self-employed carpenter.
Lynn is survived by his son, Brent Lyday and wife, Vanya of Wylie; daughter, Jennifer Bates and husband, Michael of Greenville; brothers David and Gerald Lyday; and grandchildren Matthew and Kristen Bates. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Lyday of Celeste.
