William Benjamin (Ben) Burns, a retired farmer of the Pleasant Hill community, in the Bogue Chitto area, died in the 'King's Daughters' Hospital here Saturday. T
Ben had served several terms as Justice of the Peace, and was a Baptist.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Sally Brister Burns, and four sons, Earl Burns a former Circuit clerk of Lincoln County; Tom Burns, Carl Burns and Paul Burns, all of the Bogue Chitto area; three daughters, Mrs. George L. Darby of Brookhaven, Mrs. Marvin McGraw, of the Bogue Chitto area, and Mrs. Hayward Douglas of Brookhaven; three brothers, Ernest A. Burns, and Willie Burns of the Bogue Chitto area and Van Burns of Roseland, La., and four sisters, Miss Bessie Burns, Mrs. W.C. Martin and Mrs. Carrie Brown, all of the Bogue Chitto route, and Mrs. A. E. Lewis of Crosby
