William "Pops" Glynn Avants, died on Monday, July 5, 2021 at his home in Zachary. He was 67 years old and was retired from the Body Shop at Superior Ford with 16 years of service.
He is survived by his 4 sons, Mitchell Avants, Matthew Avants and wife, Dawn, Christopher Avants and wife, Brandi and Casey Avants. A brother, Michael E. Avant and wife, Wanda. 8 grandchildren, Gage Nettles, Bailee Avants, Rylie Avants, Caleb Avants, Morgan (Hunter) Chidester, Brooklyn Avants, Caitlyn Avants and Emilee Avants.
"Pops" is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Shelia, parents, William C. and Grace Avants, sisters, Evelyn Devall and Cheryl Sharon and brother, Carl Avants.
