Freda LaDale Morgan, 73, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers.
Freda was a native of Orange, Texas, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Shirley Avant; sister, Doris Smith; daughter, Joyce Morgan; a grandson, Rocky.
Survivors include her husband, L. Earl Morgan, of Ringgold; sons, Jim (Lynda) Morgan, of Divide, Colo., Andrew Morgan, of Ringgold; daughter, Margaret (Anthony) Jones, of Chickamauga; brothers, Dr. Jim (Barbara) Avant, of Boone, N.C., Thomas (Margie) Avant, of Desoto, Texas, John (Janice) Avant, of Water Valley, Miss.; a grandson, Matthew Jones, of Chickamauga.
