Carol was born on November 5, 1942 to the late Thomas Mason Ezzell, Sr. and Frances Latimer Ezzell. She was predeceased by a son, Timmy Crawford and grandson, Jesse Dunn.

She grew up in Memphis, attended East High School. She had been living in Dickson, Tennessee, for the past twenty years.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Sueann Ward of Pelham, AL and Ellen Lee of Memphis; her brother, Mason Ezzell Jr. and sister, Frances Ezzell Williams, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

She also leaves numerous life long friends whom the family wishes to thank for all their love and support and her hospice team from Crossroads, Mandy Medlin and Verlean Hibbler.
