Larry Clay Neel, 45, of Stamping Ground, KY entered heaven from Hospice Care Center in Lexington October 29, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Clay and Mena Neel of Stamping Ground and the late Susan Watford Neel. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Chronister, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers: Anderson Fulford of Newton, AL; H. Clay Neel of Refugio, TX; and Jay Ted Neel of Georgetown, KY; and a sister, Amee Shaw of Purcell, OK. He was a long-time employee of Applebee-s in Panama City, FL. Larry was baptized by his friend, Pastor Gary Brown of Grace Christian Center, Georgetown, KY on September 24, 2007.
