Colonel David Quinn lived at Bellefountaine, Mississippi, during the Civil War, and was shot in his front yard of his home. He was buried under his front porch. There is a Quinn Family Cemetery behind where his house once stood, near Bellefontaine, Webster County, Mississippi!

David's wife was Elizabeth Morris, she and several slave's were buried at this small neglected cemetery.
