Florida Neel McMillan, 87, of Marianna died Friday, May 2, 2014 in Clearwater, Florida.
Florida was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. She was a bookkeeper for more than 50 years and most of that time was spent at Beall Tire Company. She was a member of the Sneads First United Methodist Church. She loved her family, friends and community. Her Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and her church was also extremely important to her.
Mrs. McMillan loved to sing and write songs, and work crossword puzzles. The great love story of her life was her marriage to our step-father, Filmore McMillan. She was truly a wonderful mother. You were blessed, loved and will be missed greatly.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry Grady Neel and Leetha Wester Neel; siblings, H.C. Neel and Buddy Neel; husband, Filmore McMillan and her grandson, Jeffrey Neel Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Grady Ruth Stewart and husband, George of Maitland; one son Andy Anderson and wife, Vickie of Clearwater; grandchildren, Kavan, Daniel, Courtney, Matthew, Andrew and Kyle Anderson; great-grandchild-ren, Mary, Brett, Emma, Marley, Ameisha, Parker, Scout and Eva Ruth Anderson, MacKenzie and Amber Stewart; step children, Filmore, Clay, Vangie and Matt McMillan.

Fill graduated from The University of Florida with a masters degree, he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi honorary fraternity, military student of the year in 1951-1952, county agent in Okaloosa County, taught agriculture in Okaloosa and Suwannee Counties.
Fill was a long time member of Sneads First United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and playing guitar, also, he enjoyed traveling, singing in nursing homes and other churches.
