In the name of God Amen; I Peter Isenhauer of the Township of Paxton, County of Dauphin, and State of Pennsylvania, do this day make and publish my last will and testament in the manner following:
I allow and order all my just debts and funeral charges to be paid. I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann her bed and furniture thereto belonging with dresser and all the furniture thereto belonging and two milk cows, her choice of all my cows and the interest or benefit of two hundred pounds yearly paid her while she remains my widow but if she remarries again she is to have only the interest of one hundred pounds yearly paid to her with all the other specified bequeathement mentioned to her and this be in lieu of all dower to her;
Also I give and bequeath to my eldest son Peter’s children thirty pounds; Also I give and bequeath to my grandson John by my son Frederick the sum of twenty five pounds;
Also I give and bequeath to my son Michael one quarter dollar.
Also I give and bequeath to my son Samuel one-quarter dollar;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth twenty pounds;
Also I give and bequeath to my son Nicholas twenty five pounds;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Barbara thirty five pounds;
Also I give and bequeath to my son John my four work horses and their gears and my small wagon, one milk cow, my clock, stove and windmills;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Magdelena one quarter dollar;
Also I give and bequeath to my son Jacob his horse, two cows and one hundred pounds in money;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Cathrine eighty two pounds to be paid to her in the year one thousand and eighteen hundred and three;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann one hundred pounds to be paid to her in the year one thousand eight hundred and four;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Christian one hundred pounds to be paid to her in the year one thousand eight hundred and five;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Barbara one hundred pounds to be given to her in the year one thousand eight hundred and six;
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret one hundred pounds to be paid to her in the year one thousand eight hundred and seven;
Also I give and bequeath to my son Peter one hundred pounds to be paid to him in the year one thousand eight hundred and eight;
Also I give and bequeath to my son Frederick one hundred pounds to be paid to him in the year one thousand eight hundred and nine;
Also I will order that after the amount of my estate is known and there is any over plus remaining the said over plus shall be applied to the raising, clothing and schooling of my four youngest children and shall be divided amongst said four children or to the survivor or survivors of them share and share alike—I do make ordain constitute and appoint my beloved wife Ann and Joseph Plank of Paxton executors of this my last will and testament for the purposed therein mentioned and expressed.
I do hereby revoke all other wills by me made ratifying this and no other to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Third Day of Oct One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety and Five.

On 4 June 1801 Peter Isenhauer made this codicil to his will…
I Peter Isenhauer of the Township of Paxton, County of Dauphin, state of Pennsylvania, do this fourth day of June make and publish the codicil to my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann every article as before mentioned in my will and that there shall not be any thing not even the value of a spoon disturbed or taken from her as long as she remains my widow. And whereas in and by my last Will and Testament I have given and bequeathed to my two youngest sons Peter and Frederick each one hundred pounds. It is my will that in case one of them died the other shall be heir to the sums left him in my will. And in case both shall die before they should have any heirs, their share shall be divided equally amongst the rest of my children (except my daughter Elizabeth) their heirs only shall have an equal share. I do hereby order and declare that my will is that the sum mentioned to my daughter Elizabeth shall not be paid to her but to her heirs, and in case she should not have any heirs her share is left to the rest of the children.
And lastly it is my desire that this my present codicil be annexed to and made part of my Last Will and Testament to all intent and purposes.
