Georgia Man Found Guilty of Slaying
CARTERSVILLE, Ga.: John Knight, 50-year-old mine operator, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the shoot death of Andrew W. Weinman. 35, a wealthy north Georgia sportsman and mining executive.
The jury set a sentence of from four to six years. Trial witnesses testified that the shooting in a Cartersville street on October 25th followed a dispute over mining operations.
