Tim was born July 12, 1960, in Abilene. He was the beloved son of Ralph and Gerry Trostel and father to Julia Denmark and husband, Jarrod, and Caroline Trostel.

A longtime resident of Arlington, Tim attended and graduated from Lamar High School in 1978. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1979 and served his country proudly during his Gulf War deployment. Tim was a helicopter crewman as a SAR (Sea-Air Rescue) swimmer. His 20 years with the U.S. Navy were most rewarding. After retirement in 1999, he returned to Arlington where he lived until his passing.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father Ralph Trostel.

Survivors: Mother, Gerry Trostel; brothers and their wives, Tom and Martha Jo Trostel, and Ted and Kelli Trostel; sister, Phyllis Thielman and her husband, John Thielman; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
