POLLARD WILLIAM WISDOM, son of Abner Wisdom^ was born in England. He came to America in the early part of the Eighteenth Century, probably about 1 730.

Soon after the Revolutionary War he was sent to Germany by the United States Government on some official business. He was there perhaps for several years, during which time one son. Pollard M., was born. He then returned to the United States and settled in
Kentucky.
