John Carr, Thomas Carr & Hannah Carr came to this country when Thomas was 2 years old. Both their Parents died on their passage. and were consigned to the waters of the Atlantic.
The Children were landed at Annapolis, Maryland, and kind friends took them in charge and brought them up. Thomas lived in Maryland, where he married and raised a family, but moved to Pennsylvania, before all his children were born.

Will written january 7, 1792 & Probated February 2, 1792 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Heirs: wife Elizabeth; beloved daughter Rachel as long as she remains Isaac Wite's widow, sons Elisah, Absalom & Thomas.
