Robert was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Leona Vires and Amber Vires; a sister, Barbara Davis and two brothers, Clarence Vires and J.C. Vires.

Aliph Elona Hood Franks, 70, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was born September 20, 1938 to the late Ben and Callie Meadows Hood.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a retired waitress and cook.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Franks of Ripley; one son, Kenny Vires & wife, Sue, of Booneville; and one grand-daughter, Kayla Vires of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Callie Hood; and two grandchildren, Suzanne Vires and Amber Vires.
