Margaret Frances Hood Crawley, 69, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness.
She was born on July 21, 1943, in Monroe County to William Raymond and Esther Etta Cantrell Hood. She was a native of Nettleton and a lifelong member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. She was an active church member and enjoyed doing the Lord's work. A former factory worker, she was a good housekeeper and enjoyed working in her yard and caring for her cat, Tom.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Bowden Crawley of Nettleton; one daughter, Phyllis Wright (Greg) of Hueytown, Ala.; two sons, Brad Crawley (Tiffany) of Nettleton and Ricky Dale Crawley (Derrinda) of Copperas Cove, Texas; one sister, Jewel Ballard of Nettleton; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nell Green; and one grandson, Connor Crawley.
