Mack Rook Stallings Age 87 Died July 16, 2006 at Homeplace Assisted Living in Columbus, MS.
Stallings was born on April 29, 1919 in Maben MS to the late William Mack and Eva Harpole Stallings. He was a 1939 graduate of Vardaman High School and a 1941 graduate of Northwest Mississippi Junior College. He was a member of Columbus First Baptist Church, and a retired driver for Continental Trailways Bus Lines.
Survivors include: Daughter-Dr. Shirley Graves-Modell and her husband Dr. Jerome Modell of Gainesville, Fla., Sister-Doyce Mitchell of Madison, Miss., and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rugene Pogue Graves Stallings.
