Hazel Quay Ivey Sides, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at her home. She was born March 8, 1932, in Mississippi to Vernon and Odell Grimes Ivey. She was a seamstress and tailor, and was employed at Blue Bell for 15 years. She was a retired evangelist and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Quinnon Sides of Red Bay, Ala.; two sons, Michael Sides (Kimberly) and Anthony Sides, all of Bay St. Louis; one granddaughter, Donna Joann Sides of Bay St. Louis; three sisters, Brenda Rodrigus of Illinois, Gail Morrison of Tennessee and Bertha Steele of Fulton; three brothers, Jerry Ivey of Red Bay, and Sidney Ivey and Larry Ivey, both of Illinois.

Pallbearers will be Robert Dozier, Derek Johnson, Jamie Basden, Bubba Medline, Bobby Parker and Mac Nichols.
