Elvie Ray Mayhall, 64, died Monday August 27, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
He was born January 22, 1954, to William Ray and Murley Hammock Mayhall.
He was a member of the Red Bay Holy Church of Christ. He was a law enforcement officer for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, William C. Mayhall (Becky) of Golden; two daughters, Cherry S. Mayhall (Douglas Gray) of Golden, and Angel Rice (Willie) of Red Bay; two sisters, Linda Ewing and Martha Chesnutt, both of Golden; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Cody Pickle; one step-daughter, Kim Swindle; and his parents.
