Survivors included one daughter,Theresa Cromeans (Carlisle Quantrell) of Atlanta, GA; one son, John W Cromeans Jr. (Janie) of Birmingham; one sister, Madge Shaw of Starkville; one brother, Dr. Joe Cromeans of Scottsboro, AL and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Juanita Pace Cromeans, (1965); his parents; a sister Janalou Willson and a brother, Battle Cromeans.
