Lelar M. Reynolds, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at her son's home in Rienzi. She was born Oct 10, 1915, in Itawamba County to A.R. and Sarah Jane Reynolds Mayhall. She was a Baptist and a retired farm worker. She enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, gardening, quilting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Leroy Reynolds and his wife, Wanda, of Rienzi, and Jack Reynolds and his wife, Betty, of Booneville; three daughters, Rose Denson and her husband, Mackie, of Booneville, Myrtle Vinson and her husband, Charles, of Golden, and Louise Mayhall of Iuka; two sisters, Jessie Mayhall and Ruby Credille, both of Golden; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
