Mrs. Harrison died at the Itawamba Hospital on June 7, 1965 following an extended illness of about three years.

Mrs. Harrison was born and reared at Tilden, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. M. L. Reed. She was married to Cliff C. Harrison on April 26, 1903, and they marked their 62 wedding anniversary.

They moved to Fulton about 42 years ago. Her husband was associated with Cowden Chevrolet Co., here as a partner until 1956. During that time he also served the town as mayor several terms.

Mrs. Harrison worked in the Fulton Post Office for 21 years before retiring in 1956. Five of those years she was postmistress.

She was a charter member of the Southside Baptist Church, and had been a member of the Baptist faith since early marriage.

Mrs. Harrison was an active member of the Fulton Civic Club, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, other survivors included four daughters, Mrs. Carl Lowery of Verona, Mrs. Murray Caldwell of Pontotoc, Mrs. Ernest Crabb of Wyckoff, N. J., and Mrs. Sam Lindsey, Jr., of Laurel; two sons, C. C. Harrison, Jr., of Palmdale, Calif., and Joe Harrison of Fulton; one brother, Kip Reed of Tupelo; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
