Susie Pruitt, 65, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Aug. 10, 1941, to Bonnie and Ruby Beam Timmons. She was a member of Life Unlimited Church and a sewing machine operator at Golden Manufacturing.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Eugene "Gene" Pruitt of Golden; two sons, Terry Pruitt (Linda) and Robert Pruitt, both of Golden; one daughter, Sherry Tate (Bobby) of Golden; one brother, Johnny "Buck" Timmons of Fulton; one sister, Nellie Pruitt of Golden; eight grandchildren, T.J. Pruitt, Dakota Pruitt, Sandra Pruitt, Daric Pruitt, Dillon Tate, Harley Tate, Tasha Dexter and Chad Helton; two great-grandchildren, Blake-Lee Dexter and Brock Dexter.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Nelms, Randy Melson, Toby Allison, Andrew Melson, James Earl Sparks, Corey Pruitt and Chad Helton.
