Ruble Faye Timmons, 84, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., died July 9, 2006, at Morningside Assisted Living, Sheffield, Ala.
She was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Itawamba County, Miss., to Doc and Bernice Sides Ashley. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buford Timmons; a son, Ralph Timmons; a grandson, Jason Timmons; a brother, W.D. Ashley; and a sister, Ruby Hall.
Survivors include two sons, Leland Timmons and wife, Gail Timmons, Cherokee, Ala., and Donnie Timmons and wife, Leanne Timmons, San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Charles Ashley, Belmont, Miss., and Paul Ashley, Golden, Miss.; five sisters, Ruth White, Sheffield, Ala., Edna Lofton, Winthrop Harbor, Ill., Junita Rodgers, Guntown, Miss., Nell Anderson, Zion, Ill., and Burton Stockton, Belmont, Miss.; four grandchildren, Rodney Timmons, Golden, Miss., Robert Timmons, Tuscumbia, Ala., and Kara Timmons and Brea Timmons, both of San Antonio, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Tiffany Timmons and Justin Timmons; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Earmon White, Johnny Stockton, Jeff Ashley, Mackie Hargett, Eldon Taylor and John Stockton.
