Geo Washington Ingle was administrator of the Estate of Paulser Ingle. He was replaced by the Sheriff of Tuscaloosa Co, AL. He was fined $5.00 for Contempt of Court. He omitted the heirs of John Ingle and Joseph Ingle in the original filing of the estate in the Court. They were added by Hansen S. Brown, husband of Elizabeth Ingle in 1823. Joseph's heirs(Elizabeth) was included in a petition by Reuben Butler Logan, son-in-law of Joseph Ingle in 1828

George Washington Ingle was involved in real estate dealings in Tuscaloosa Co, AL beginning in 1821. His brother, Peter Ingle, was also involved in land transactions in Jefferson County, and, possibly, Blount Co. Their father, Paulser, was also involved in land transactions. One thing that the documents show is that Peter and George could write, while Paulser signed with an (X).

The RECEIVER'S OFFICE at TUSCALOOSA, No 1106, 23 Oct 1821, shows that George Ingle received 79 & 92/100 acres and paid $99.90 being in full for W-1/2 of NE 1/4, Sec 31, T 20, R 10-w. The rate shows as $1.25 per acre, located in Tuskaloosa Co, AL. Then on 12 Nov 1821, George Ingle transfers to Paulser Ingle of Tuskaloosa Co, AL all of his rights to the same property. George signed his name, in the presence of John McKee, Register, Land Office, Tuskaloosa. FHLawson
