J. C. Timmons was born February 24, 1938, in Fulton, Mississippi to the late R. C. and Sula Timmons.
Mr. Timmons worked many years at Colson and member of the Bethel Station Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Timmons; his children, Glenda Sue Baskin (Chris) of Williford, A. Jay Timmons of Greenbriar and Betty Jo Griggs (Greg) of Jonesboro; three brothers, Wilburn Timmons, Rowden Timmons and Billy Timmons (Margaret) all of Bay; three sisters, Irma Lawrence (Junior) of Bay, Betty Sue Kuhel (Joe) of Hernando, Miss. and Diane Rawls (Larry) of Bay; five grandchildren, Cortney, Christy, Drew, Jacy and Kadence; four great-grandchildren, Brittni, Tyler, Bobbiecay and Abby.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rosco Timmons and Audie Timmons and a sister, Sally Dedman.
