According to a Rutherford Co., NC book 25, page 174, Nathan was ordered by the court to pay Drucilla $50.00 cash. Thought to be a divorce. After the divorce of Nathan and Drucilla, in 1799, Drucilla went to live with her daughter Elizabeth Byars Watkins in or near McMinnvile, TN. She later went to live with her daughter Nancy Byars Walker. She lived there until her death in 1816.
