It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Mr. Keith Albert Rye, a father, a brother, a friend, a devoted fiancé, and a stranger to nobody.
Keith was born on July 22, 1960 in Amory, Mississippi, to the late Wanda Lou Wilkes Rye and James Albert Rye. His grandmother, Cleat Wright Rye, was extremely influential in his faith and his walk with God. He left Mississippi after graduating high school and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served for 15 years. After leaving the Navy, he started a very successful landscaping business in Kissimmee/St. Cloud, Florida, then later sold it to take a distribution management position with Roma Foods. For the past eleven years, he was employed as a truck driver for Food Lion.
Keith was a man who walked with God and sought His direction in every aspect of life. His desire was always to honor God in how he lived and how he treated others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Kenny and David Rye.
He is survived by his fiancé, Juliana R. Alioto, three children, Loren Becker of Winter Park, FL, Landon Rye of Amory, MS, and Paige Wallace, of Four Oaks, NC, two brothers, Kevin Rye, of Amory, MS and Craig Rye or Fairview, MS, a sister, Diane Ziehlke-Rye McNeill of Texas, a grandson, Aiden Becker of Winter Park, FL, and two life-long friends with whom he served in the Navy, Allen Hester of Angier and Michael Edwards of Greenville, NC.
He will be remembered for his faith, his service to and pride in his country, his contagious friendliness, and his devotion to those close to him.
