She graduated from Limestone Gap in 1941 and was a homemaker, cafe owner and operator in Stringtown. She married Leslie Marison Thompson on Monday, September 15th, 1941 at Stringtown, OK. He precedes her in death in 2005. Imogene was a longtime member of Stringtown Baptist Church, a member of Oklahoma Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was also a member of Home Demonstration Club at Limestone Gap.
