William Temple immigrated before 1671 to NC. Date based on the presence of his son Robert on church roles in VA. He died in 1696 in NC. Died without a will. Lucy Temple claims, based on Burke's Peerage, that this line is traceable to the Temples of Stowe and Temple Hall.
