Misc. Notes
"SARAH LUDLOW m. NATHANIEL BREWSTER, son of Francis Brewster and Lucy was born about 1643 or 1644, probably at Fairfield, Connecticut.
As a young girl she was a resident of Fairfield, but in the late spring or early summer of 1654 she removed in her father's family to Dublin, Ireland. Here presumably, she was married to Nathaniel Brewster shorlty after February, 1660. Thereafter she was of Aldeby or Alby in Norfolk, until the summer of 1663.
Mrs. Brewster and her husband had arrived in Boston, Massachusetts by September, 1663, where they stayed for a short time. Finally in 1665 the Brewsters removed to Setauket in the town of Brookhaven, New York where they were destined to remain the rest of their days.
She was a witness at Setauket with her husband to a deed of Robert and Alice Smith to Thomas Thorp, 4 November, 1673; and she likewise witnessed again, with her husband, the signing of the will of John Jenners of Brookhaven, 7 March 1674. On 19 January 1679 Mrs. Brewster sold three acres of land at Newtown (in Brookhaven) to Robert Kellum for four pounds. This land once had belonged to Robert Akerly.
The widow Sarah Brewster signed as witness, 24 October 1699, a deed of Abraham Whitehair (Whittier) who conveyed land to Elias Bayley.
She died probably not long after this last date, at Setauket. No will or administration of her effect has been found.
