Johnnie Pauline Reynolds, 91, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Landmark Nursing home and Rehab Center in Booneville.
She was born March 27, 1918, to Clifford and Trannie Edwards Hood. She was a member of the Family Worship Center. She was employed by Mantachie Manufacturing Co. for more than 30 years. She enjoyed flowers, quilting, her church, and being with her family. She was known and loved by many as "Moma Reynolds."
Survivors include two sons, Paul Reynolds (Chris) and Gayle "Mule" Reynolds (Judy), both of Mantachie; two daughters, Mary Kilgo of Saltillo and Sandra Peoples of the Ozark community; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Reynolds of Mantachie; special nephew, L.D. Sheffield of Mantachie; a special niece, Bernice Brock of Keiser, Ark.; 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 31 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Reynolds, on Dec. 26, 1967; three sons, Larry, Wendell and Dale Reynolds; two daughters, Dorothy Raines and Johnnie Shurden; one brother, Leon Hood; one sister, Obera Roberts; and her parents.
