Joel D. Hood, 42, of Brighton, TN, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at his home. He was a member at Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Hood is survived by his daughter Amanda Shinar of Ripley; his parents, Dores T. and Maurine Hood of Brighton; three sisters, Darlene Tanner of Munford, Diana Carr and Donna Downs of Brighton; and one brother Jimmy Hood of Ripley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sammy Hood.
