Magdalena is some what of a brick wall. We don't have her date of birth or date of death. We know that she was still living in March of 1765 and assume that her place of death was on her husbands (John) farm as he made provisions for their son Samuel to see to her needs.

We know that she was married once before John as she had a daughter, Marey wife of John Miller, as indicated by Johns Last Will and Testament. This brings into question Magdalenas maiden name. Was Kroehbiel her maiden or was that her first husbands name?

The Krähenbühls (Krehbiels) are descendants of the Swiss Mennonite refugees who arrived in the Palatinate, Germany, in 1671 from Zäziwil in Bern canton. Their progenitor was Jost Krähenbühl.
