Cover-Coover Family, arrived at the port of Philadelphia, Pa. He settled in Lancaster county, Pa., and his descendants migrated chiefly westward into the several counties of southern Pennsylvania, and later as far west as the Pacific coast, seeking pioneer
Seventy-seven Palatine Immigrants, who with their families, numbered in all 260 persons, arrived Aug. 29, 1730 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the ship Thistle of Glasgow, Colin Dunlop, Master from Rotterdam, but last from Dover.
Among these two hundred and sixty names is found the name of Dieterich Kober.
