"Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Sheila Neel Mead, 3 sons, Rob, Todd and Ross Olive, 3 daughters in law, Amy, Pam and Jennifer, 7 grandchildren, daughter Julie Horowitz, son John Mead and their children.

Fred leaves us all with lasting memories of his intellectual wit, his love for martinis and horses and his strong faith."
