Jacob Froman was a Kentucky Revolutionary soldier and later a member of the first Continental Convention of Kentucky and was one of the committee which fixed the permanent seat of government at Frankfort.
He represented Mercer County in the first Kentucky Legislature and was afterwards in the Wabash Indian War.
