Ruble was born on May 11, 1936, in Amory, Mississippi, and was the son of Cleveland W. and Ruby B. (Miller) Maxey.
On June 30, 1956, at Good Hope Baptist Church, Amory, Mississippi Mississippi, he was married to Diana Golwitzer.
He served our country in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge on May 11, 1960.
Ruble retired from AMC/Chrysler after 30 years of service.
He was an active member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church. He enjoyed coaching his son's baseball team, bowling, fishing, hunting, dancing, playing pinochle and traveling with his wife, Diana. Most recently he enjoyed playing with his great grandsons.
Ruble is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diana Maxey; his son, Paul Maxey; his brothers, James and Robert; his grandson, Nick (Erin) Ulezelski; and his great grandsons, Braydon and Blake Ulezelski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Junior; a sister, Doris; and his beloved daughter, Debbie Ulezelski.
