Jerry Lynn “Tiny” Brasfield, 60, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. He was born February 2, 1952, to Bascom and Jettie Gregory Brasfield.
He lived in Fulton for many years until moving to Smithville three years ago. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He was in the logging business most of his life as a truck driver for Jason Spigner and Bennett Brothers Logging. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Eunita Brasfield of Smithville; his mother, Jettie Brasfield of Smithville; one daughter, Kristal Ferguson (Rickey) of Tupelo, two sons, Michael Brasfield (Janice) of Smithville and Jimmy Brasfield (Talisha) of Fulton; one sister, Peggy Sanderson of Smithville; one brother, Tommy Brasfield of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Sorayla Brasfield, Sadie Brasfield, and Stephen Brasfield .
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Sanderson, Greg Sanderson, Chad Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Gary Bennett, and Joseph Chavis.
