Howard Lee Maxey, 91, of Ellettsville passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Bloomington Hospice House.
Howard was born in Mississippi on October 25, 1926 to Benjamin and Frances (Lindsey) Maxey. He retired from Electric Steel Casting.
Howard is survived by his children, “Kathy” Katie Weddle of Ellettsville, Fay and Dallas Scott of Bloomington, Don and Betty Maxey of Ellettsville, Lourie Gallen of Ellettsville and Carla Roberts of Spencer and daughter-in-law, Tonya Maxey of Bloomington; twenty-one grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; son, Michael Maxey; four grandchildren; brothers, Robert and BC and his sister LC.
