Mrs. Eva Lee Spradling died at 9:50 p.m. on January 22, 1964 in Amory at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Burnette Bailey, after an illness of several months. She was 64.

Mrs. Spradling was born and reared in the Ozark community of Itawamba County. She was married in 1919 to D. N. Spradling, who died in 1956. She moved to Amory in 1958. She was a member of East Amory Baptist Church.

In addition to her daughter, other survivors included a son, Jack Spradling of Nauvoo, Ala.; a step-son, Newton Spradling of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Arthur Stephens of Marietta; four sisters, Mrs. Wiley Ashley of Golden, Mrs. Orville Woods of Belmont, Mrs. Jess Hale of Liberty and Mrs. Emerine Brown of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
