Pamela Toles passed away on August 30, 2025 at her home in Oakland, Tennessee.
She was born on June 5, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of James Winston and Lola McClellan Wright. Growing up with her three brothers, Pam was full of life, a spirit she carried with her throughout her years.
In her younger days, she met Rusty Dyson at her future father-in-law, Kenneth Dyson’s church, and the two married and built a family together, raising their children Shannon and Cher.
Pam was a devoted mother, pouring her energy into her children while also excelling as an avid tennis player.
Her greatest joy came from her role as “Pally.” She adored her six grandchildren, Jackson, Charlie, Ryder, Isla, Max, and Ivy, and had the unique gift of making each one feel like they were her favorite. She also embraced her children’s spouses, Jill and Emmett, with the same deep love and care, treating them as if they were her own.
Later in life,
Pam married Grant Toles, and together they delighted in spoiling the grandchildren and building new memories with family and friends.
Pam will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a kind and gentle soul who always put the needs of others before her own.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Wright; her mother, Lola McClellan Wright; and her father-in-law, Kenneth Dyson.
